Heimann Sensor GmbH was founded in early 2002 with 5 employees, bringing together about 100 years of experience in infrared technology. The company is headquartered in Dresden and has an independent branch in Eltville. In the first fiscal year, the world's smallest thermopile chip was developed and transferred to pilot production. Later, they produced the world's smallest thermopile chips and the world's smallest sensor modules. Today, Heimann Sensors is a technological leader in infrared sensors for non-contact temperature measurement and gas detection.
