Tokmas
Tokmas Semiconductor was founded in 1995 by an American-Chinese professor of advanced physics at the University of Arkansas. A joint laboratory was established at the University of Arkansas. Tokmas specializes in producing industrial and automotive-grade power semiconductor chips and packages. Its products include IGBTs, MOSFETs, COOLMOS, fast recovery diodes, silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs, silicon carbide Schottky diodes, gallium nitride (GaN) FETs, thyristors, etc. These products are mainly used in new energy vehicle power supplies, photovoltaic grid-connected inverters, electric UPS power supplies, DC charging piles, high-frequency switching power supplies, AC/DC screens, plasma cutting welders, etc. The main markets for Tokmas products are in Europe and America, with annual sales exceeding $600 million. In early 2014, to further expand its market share, Tokmas entered the high-end new energy market in China. Especially, its silicon carbide Schottky diodes have a very significant advantage. The company's products are also gradually expanding into the mid-range product market, contributing to the glory of key component suppliers in the new energy industry.
